For the next two weekends, the iconic Studio Two at Abbey Road will be the home of an intimate Christmas concert as their fantastic Christmas Quartet will be playing carols and Christmas film classics. Soutine is a Parisian-inspired restaurant, on the corner of the high-street. From £1 Oyster deals to Christmas cocktails, they are bringing out all the stops this festive season. Soutine are paying attention to every detail as they collaborate with British artist Olivia Sewell on a collection of limited-edition tote bags, perfect for chic gift giving’. Once you’ve spotted the bags, you’ll notice the coasters on each table match, as Sewell’s work flows throughout the restaurant, designed to embody the cosiness and joy the festivities bring. Don’t have time for a meal? Soutine have a cart outside offering mulled wine takeaway for shoppers and passersby. 

Panzer's Deli and Grocery

This local delicatessen has been in the heart of the St John’s Wood since their opening in 1944, with the mission being to provide the most delicious epicurean treats for cooking, eating and entertaining. On the 17th of December, carol singing and music from a brass band will be taking place on their terrace alongside festive drinks, snacks and mini pizzas. If you’re looking to experience a more traditional event, on Sunday the 14th of December at 6:30pm, St John’s Wood Church will be doing the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols service, followed by mulled wine and mince pies. This service traces the arc of the Nativity story, with each reading followed by a carol.  This service invites residents, families and newcomers as it is an easier way to experience the calmer side of Christmas as part of a community.
