A Local's Guide to Marylebone: Beauchamp Estates' Favourite Places
Marylebone suits people who value routine as much as proximity.
Why Marylebone appeals to buyers
At Beauchamp Estates, we have advised clients across London for over forty years. We can help you find a home in Marylebone and, just as importantly, settle into the routines and local places that define day-to-day life here.
You can walk to Mayfair and Soho, head north quickly via Baker Street, or stay local with everything you need on the High Street. Paddington is within easy reach for travel and Marylebone Station has great connections for travelling out of London at the weekend.
Nina
Nina is a discreet underground bar, with candle-lit tables and plaster walls with leopard print draping that creates a sense of unfussy luxury. Since opening in spring, it’s quickly become one of those restaurants everyone talks about, yet few manage to book – and for good reason. Nina feels effortlessly intimate, embracing London’s moody evenings, but balancing them with the contemporary design flair you might expect in Milan.
If you’re lucky enough to secure a reservation, the duck ragu bianco is our favourite dish!

White Mulberries
After opening their second location in Marylebone, White Mulberries is the kind of cafe that makes you slow down without realising it. Whether it’s a long, easy Saturday brunch shared with friends or a quiet Sunday morning alone, the window seats and outdoor terrace lend themselves perfectly for an unhurried iced coffee. White Mulberries is a rare find in central London – a place where you can simply sit and watch the world go by.
The Farmers Market
Held every Sunday, Marylebone’s Farmers Market has an inviting village charm rarely found in the busy capital. This is a flagship market from London Farmers Market and it feels exactly like a local market should. Lively, bustling, full of familiar faces and new flavours as each season brings something different, whether it be April’s fresh asparagus or carrots in October a perfect ingredient for a hearty stew.
Marylebone High Street
You cannot talk about Marylebone without mentioning the High Street – it’s the beating heart of the neighbourhood. Every store you pass by offers a temptation, as though the street has been curated just for you. The Ginger Pig is a renowned butcher selling high-quality meat and if you sign up to one of their butchery classes you’ll end up with both new skills and a two-course meal that makes the whole experience filling. Continue onto La Fromagerie, an award-winning cheese shop, that is a mix of delicatessen and a social hub, encouraging customers to indulge in their products before they’ve left the store.
Harley Street
Just a short walk from Marylebone High Street, Harley Street is one of London’s most recognisable addresses, known for its long-established medical and wellness practices. The Georgian townhouses and discreet brass plaques give it an assured feel, with a quietness that is rare this close to Oxford Street. Even if you are not visiting for an appointment, it is a good street to pass through on the way towards Regent’s Park.
Marylebone feels lived in and enjoyed and it is an area people tend to stay in once they arrive.
